Most of the certificates issue in Pakistan (Educational and personal certificates) are not valid in most foreign countries unless they are attested by the respected government departments in Pakistan and also by the foreign country’s embassy in Pakistan.

Who can bring documents for MOFA attestation?
The applicant himself or his family member with an authorization letter.
The person presenting the documents on behalf of his relative must show any of his valid ID.
If no family member of the applicant is residing in Pakistan, the applicant needs to produce an authority letter duly signed by the Pakistan High Commission abroad. Because authority should be brought with other relevant documents.
What documents are attested by MOFA?
The Ministry only attests documents in Urdu and English versions. Document or its translation in any other language other than English is not attest.
But documents once attested, will stay valid forever and hence will not be attest.
An attestation made by the Camp Offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, and Karachi has the same authenticity.
But photocopies or translations of any document will be attest. when the original document is present and is attested by an officer.
